Weekend Weather (ignore that 10% rain thing, we aren't having that)

Let's be honest, your feet have started to web with all the rain we have had in the last 4 months. Getting out of the house has become a chore, especially if you have children and have to play the car seat game in the rain. You have a vitamin D deficiency from lack of sunshine alone.

We can't change the weather, and can't always control the amount of sunshine, but today we'll let you know that the weekend doesn't look too depressing. Temperatures, although not usually considered Texas warm, are decent with a light jacket and this is the weekend to get outside. The groundhog did say spring was coming, so lets see if we can encourage mother nature to play along with some of these outdoor events happening this weekend as well as some cool parks if you're not wanting to be on a schedule:

Third Monday Trade Days in McKinney - this is a classic tradition and a great time to people watch, mosey about, and do some shopping.

ORLY Junk Market - the name says it all, but you could always find that piece you never knew you needed.

Nature Story Time at the Heard Museum - aimed at the younger kiddos and afterwards check out the dinosaur exhibit before it's extinct.

All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast & Self Guided Tour at In Sync Exotics - pancakes, exotic cats, more pancakes? yes please.

Klyde Warren Park - if you haven't hit up this Dallas destination, now is the time to see what all the hype is about.

Hope Park in Frisco - linked article is old, but still very accurate. Talk about a great park for kids of ALL ages.

These are just a few. Are there big ones we missed that you want to share? We would love to hear it!
